I had always wanted to do Warli...
Its easy but is sure time consuming owing to drawing of the small figurines :)
I painted the canvas black...however,i have seen Warli with white, blue and maroon backgrounds too....Pick your choice
Once the canvas is painted, locate the center point and draw (faint) spiral. I drew spiral with 3 lines....
I used a compass in order to draw the spirals... a sample is attached....
(though this one's wrong...coz the space between all 3 lines should be same as thats where you're gonna put the figurines)
ok... so now its time to draw the figurine.... its very simple and just consists of basic shapes - Lines, Circles and Triangles....
Well....thats it...Continue drawing these figurines around the spiral...

Warli depicts happiness...its in the form of dancing, celebrating,marriage, harvesting...
